Guido is the mastermind behind our own products. He develops and builds our equipment himself and tests new products together with handstand artists and experienced users from the community.

Through his long-standing network, he regularly exchanges ideas with artists and learns firsthand what is truly needed in training and on stage.

Guido's Career Path

WHERE IT ALL BEGAN

My career began far from the world of acrobatics: For more than two decades, I ran a company building rickshaws for professional operators. Craftsmanship, high-quality materials, and precision have always been at the heart of my work.

Some of those rickshaws are still in use today – as package transporters for our workshop. :)

Guido's Career Path

THE FIRST HANDSTAND CANES

I eventually found my way into the world of acrobatics through a youth circus project at my children’s school. Together with a friend, I took over the leadership of the project. When a handstand cane was needed, I built one myself.

It was well received and continuously refined. In 2014, the first official order followed through Akrobatik-Shop.

What started as a single handstand cane has grown over the years into an increasingly diverse range of products. Today, we develop and manufacture our own equipment, custom builds, and much more – with extensive experience, skilled craftsmanship, and a close connection to real-world use.
